Olga Sloutsker started project “Fitness Movement” in Russia!

July 30, 2009, In the frames of the Russian Youth Forum “Seliger 2009”, during the session “Leadership”, Olga Sloutsker - the president of the Russian Fitness Aerobic Federation, president of the fitness club chains World Class and Fizkult - introduced a new innovative project “Fitness Movement” supported by the Federal Agency of the Youth Affairs.  

About 1000 people gathered for the meeting with Olga Sloutsker, the active participants of the Forum from different cities of Russia who develop the projects for sport, fitness and healthy life style. Olga shared her story of success in business and introduced the project “Fitness Movement”. The Project is developed to promote the healthy life style, for searching the young specialists in the field of sport, fitness and physical culture who are ready to learn, create, promote and move the innovation ideas and methods to the mass and both professionals and amateurs may be involved into the “Fitness Movement”.  

Every year several thousand people, school teachers for physical culture, fitness club instructors will come to the forum “Seliger” with the goal in the frames of the project “Fitness Movement” to improve their qualification, open their own business or become a certified instructor and in such practical way to contribute in the promotion of the healthy life style in Russia.

Olga Sloutsker also performed as an expert in the participants’ projects of the session “Leadership” and signed more than 30 partnership agreements. Youth initiatives aimed to develop sport infrastructure and promote a healthy life style got the support. Among them the projects to build new sport centers, arrangements of the gyms, opening the dance studio, supporting the project for the new information and leisure center, as well as the project to organize the sport marathons. The participants who signed the agreements with Olga Sloutsker will get the complex partnership support: starting from delivering of the equipment and fitness machines and finishing with the development of the methods and technologies, preparation of the specialists and instructors, involving in the projects own top management.  

“I am always ready to support the projects that are aimed to health improve the nation and citizens of our country” – Olga Sloutsker stated.

*Russian Youth Forum “Seliger” – takes place in Tverskoy region which is 370 km away from Moscow and 400 km from StPete. The independent so called “city” is created in the forest near the lake Seliger specially for the participants and guests of the Forum, where they may enjoy not only the forum itself but also the nature - clear water of the lake, fresh air and pine forest.

About 50000 young people come to the forum sessions for several days in July and August to participate in the intensive educational program, meet with experts, representative from government and business.
